Compression enhancements
This simple tutorial will show you simple ways to increase your AEG's air seal and compression. Resulting in increased muzzle velocity.
You will need:
- Teflon air seal tape
- A file (for the tappet plate)
- Old AEG cylinder (optional)
You will need:

Step 1: Wrap air seal Teflon tape around the O-ring of the cylinder head. This will increase the air seal and as a result, increase muzzle velocity.
Step 2: Sand the front face of the tappet plate. As shown in the picture. This will force the air nozzle harder into the hop-up bucking and increase the the air seal between the bucking and the air nozzel. Again, increasing muzzle velocity. Be careful not to sand off the part that the nozzle fits into.
Step 3: Remove the O-ring on your piston head and stretch it around your cylinder. Leave it there over night. If you have an old cylinder, you can use a match or lighter to quickly heat the O-ring so it expands. This will also improve the air seal and increase muzzle velocity.
